This is a full-time opportunity for a Wireless Network Technician to support and optimize the wireless infrastructure within a large, multi-floor office environment. The role is focused on maintaining secure, stable, and high-performing Wi-Fi that supports everyday business operations, including Microsoft Teams, VoIP systems, and high-bandwidth applications. You'll work closely with the IT Network Engineering team to keep everything running smoothly across all areas of the building.
This position is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work and problem solving. You'll be the go-to person for diagnosing and improving wireless performance, making upgrades, and ensuring everyone stays connected without interruption. Required Skills & Experience
Associate degree in Information Technology, Networking, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
Minimum of 2 years supporting enterprise-level wireless network environments
Proficiency with Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (9800 series) and Cisco access points; experience with Cisco DNA Center is a plus
Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, channel planning, and spectrum management
Experience conducting RF surveys and spectrum analysis to identify and resolve interference issues
Knowledge of managing SSIDs, VLANs, and wireless security policies (WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X authentication, NAC)
Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as Cisco Catalyst Center, Ekahau, NetSpot, or Cisco Prime
Ability to interpret and work from network topology diagrams and building floorplans
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail in technical documentation
Experience collaborating with IT teams on firmware updates, patches, and capacity improvements
Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, VoIP systems, and other high-bandwidth applications

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CCNP Enterprise Wireless
Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA)
CompTIA Network+ or Security
