Position : VOLUNTEER Coach School : Wethersfield High School Reports To : Athletic Director Start Date : TBD Application Date : Posting will remain open until filled
We have intermittent openings for a Volunteer Coach for our sports teams at the Wethersfield High School. We are looking for a motivated and dedicated leader with superior communication and teaching skills to fill this critical opening in our school.
The coach will provide guidance and direction to our athletes under the leadership of our Head Coach. The chosen coach will be responsible for providing individual and team instruction that puts athletes in the best position to have success. Additionally, our coach will teach and implement strategies, develop and hone athlete fundamentals, and instruct the sport with a high degree of energy and enthusiasm.
This position is vital to our school as the individual has regular and constant interaction with our students, parents/families and community. To be considered, candidates must hold, or be willing and able to pay for and obtain, all required certifications and trainings and must have prior experience coaching in the sport. Additionally, candidates must be available to attend after school, evening and weekend practices/games as dictated by the athletic department.
