Working under the general direction of the Quality Leader, you will be the connective tissue between design intent, manufacturing reality, and supplier capability. You will help ensure our existing parts and products meet engineering expectations while partnering with Supplier Quality Engineers, Product Engineering, and Purchasing to evaluate the capability of both current and prospective suppliers.

Location & Schedule

This role is based in Ripon, WI and operates on 2nd shift, Monday through Thursday, 3:00pm to 1:00am.

A Day in the Role

Start your shift collaborating with Product Engineering on a new component, move to the floor to review process controls and torque checks, and then meet with Supplier Quality to align on SPC plans for an incoming supplier. You’ll close out the day by coaching audit personnel and reporting rejected and warranty data to leadership.

What You’ll Do

Analyze problems and conduct process and machine capability studies.

Define and recommend statistical process controls for supplier processes in collaboration with the Supplier Quality Engineer.

Track and drive resolution of supplier quality and productivity issues.

Source and procure inspection and test equipment for assigned production areas.

Supervise quality process control and audit personnel as assigned.

Maintain test and audit quality documentation to meet engineering specifications.

Oversee torque verification and process control monitoring activities.

Partner with the Supplier Quality Engineer to translate new designs into test and audit documentation that meets engineering requirements.

Serve on the process review team to help Product Engineering introduce purchased and manufactured components.

Provide rejected and warranty data to the management team for analysis.

What You Bring

AS degree required with equivalent experience; BS in Engineering, Quality, or Manufacturing discipline desired.

2 years of experience in quality assurance/control .

Strong working knowledge of statistical concepts applied to Quality Control.

Experience collaborating within project teams is beneficial.

Familiarity with Six Sigma is highly desired.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
