Detailed Job Description: We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure & Compliance Specialist to support enterprise-scale vulnerability remediation, OS upgrade projects, and infrastructure compliance across lab and manufacturing environments. This role demands a solid understanding of regulated IT environments, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on execution in a GxP-compliant life sciences setting.
IT Infrastructure Management (5+ years): Proven experience managing enterprise IT environments (servers, endpoints, OS-level configurations). BIOS-level change management and endpoint remediation experience.
Vulnerability Remediation & Endpoint Security: Hands-on responsibility in identifying, tracking, and remediating vulnerabilities across applications, systems, and firmware. Familiarity with patching tools like Ivanti, SCCM, or similar.
Windows OS Migration & Upgrade: Successfully delivered Windows 10 to 11 migration at scale. Experience working with system owners and migration teams to manage dependencies and minimize downtime.
Life Sciences & GxP Domain (2-3 years minimum): Exposure to lab systems, manufacturing IT, and lab controllers within a regulated pharmaceutical/biotech setting. Understanding of GxP compliance, system validation, and audit readiness in infrastructure roles.
Data Quality & Asset Governance: Experience maintaining and reconciling IT data across systems such as Active Directory, Ivanti, Intune, CMDB (ServiceNow), and network inventories. Ability to assess and resolve discrepancies across data sources for compliance and operational reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong communication and coordination skills to act as a liaison between Infrastructure, InfoSec, Application, and Business teams. Ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes including system owners, compliance leads, and project managers.
Reporting & Audit Readiness: Skilled in preparing compliance reports, dashboards, and visualizations for project health and vulnerability status. Familiarity with audit trail requirements, documentation best practices, and SOPs aligned to GxP regulations.
Key Responsibilities Lead infrastructure remediation efforts across application, OS, and BIOS layers in a GxP setting. Plan and execute Windows 10 to 11 upgrade projects, coordinating closely with system owners and technical leads. Act as a single point of contact for infrastructure compliance across lab and manufacturing sites. Maintain data accuracy across AD, CMDB, Intune, and patching systems to support decision-making and audit requirements. Support ongoing infrastructure cleanup and system alignment activities across the enterprise. Facilitate meetings, create status reports, and maintain visibility into compliance gaps and closure timelines. Differentiate and manage GxP vs. Research IT systems, ensuring appropriate handling and documentation.

Additional Responsibilities: Identify potential risks and issues in project delivery and escalate as needed. Manage action trackers and ensure timely closure of open items with respective owners. Provide weekly status updates on key deliverables, risks, and project milestones to stakeholders. Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel to analyze and compile system data from CMDB and Active Directory.
