Description Administer evaluations to pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations using expert assessment tools along with keen observational methods. Craft tailored treatment plans that address immediate objectives while promoting long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing advancements. Deliver focused one-on-one speech therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing efficiency. Collaborate harmoniously with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to formulate comprehensive care strategies. Provide insights and education for patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond therapy sessions. Occasionally conduct inpatient evaluations and therapy interventions, ensuring seamless care throughout the recovery journey. Ensure meticulous and periodic documentation in accordance with state, federal, and facility guidelines. Keep abreast of industry advancements through continual learning and collaborations with peers. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications
Active state licensure to practice as a
Speech Language Pathologist . Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Skills
