Are YOU a wizard at FP&A and Business Intelligence? CAES by Honeywell seeks a mission-driven Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at the intersection of FP&A and Business Intelligence. This role is critical to shaping our strategic financial direction by providing data-driven insights, developing advanced financial models, and creating robust BI reports. We are looking for an analytical professional with a proven track record in the defense sector, who can translate complex financial data into actionable intelligence that drives program success.
Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
Lead the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), long-range strategic plan, and quarterly financial forecasts for defense programs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives. Design and maintain complex financial models for program performance, Estimates at Complete (EACs), pricing, and what-if scenario analysis. Provide strategic financial recommendations to senior leadership by conducting in-depth variance analysis on program profitability, revenue, and costs. Ensure rigorous financial compliance with government regulations, including the FAR, DFARS, and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). Prepare and present executive-level financial reports and presentations for both internal stakeholders and external defense customers.
Business Intelligence (BI) & Data Analytics:
Design, develop, and deploy dynamic Power BI dashboards and other BI solutions to provide real-time visibility into program performance, budget status, and KPIs. Leverage expertise in SQL and other data tools to automate financial data collection, reporting, and visualization. Conduct advanced data analytics on large, complex datasets to identify trends, mitigate risks, and uncover strategic opportunities for cost optimization and revenue growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Program Management, Contracts, and Operations, to define business requirements and ensure data accuracy.

Qualifications
Minimum:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis. Advanced proficiency in Power BI or Tableau, with hands-on experience building complex dashboards from scratch. Proficiency with enterprise financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Deltek Costpoint). Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex financial information to diverse audiences. This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by US export laws. In order to be eligible for this position, you must be a "US Person" under US export laws (or eligible for approval under a U.S. Government export license). Preferred:
Master's degree in a relevant field. Financial planning and analysis within the defense industry or a government contracting environment. Deep expertise with government contracting types (e.g., FFP, CPFF, T&M) and their financial management requirements. Active U.S. Secret security clearance. Relevant professional certification, such as Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM), CPA, or CFA. Practical knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and reporting. Salary Range: $98,000- $120,000 Annually. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
