Job Title: Medical Coding and Billing Specialist Location: Duluth, Georgia Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Healthcare / Medical Office Salary: Competitive, based on experience Benefits: Health insurance, PTO, retirement plan, and more Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Coding and Billing Specialist to join a healthcare team in Duluth, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing medical records, accurately assigning diagnosis and procedure codes, and processing insurance claims for timely reimbursement. Key Responsibilities: Assign appropriate CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes based on clinical documentation Review and verify patient medical records to ensure proper coding and compliance Submit claims to insurance companies and follow up on unpaid claims Resolve coding and billing discrepancies Work with healthcare providers to ensure accurate documentation Stay updated on coding guidelines and insurance requirements Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or similar certification required Minimum of 1 2 years of medical coding and billing experience Strong understanding of insurance claims processing and reimbursement procedures Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and billing software Work Environment: In-office position, Monday through Friday Friendly and collaborative medical office environment To Apply: https://west-gwinnett-jobs.Atwork.Com/ Equal Opportunity Employer We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
