Job Description
As the finance lead for Asset Management, you will oversee P&L, drive strategic analysis, and ensure accurate financial reporting. This role offers exposure to complex business lines and high-visibility projects, working closely with COO teams and senior executives.
Responsibilities
Own and manage the Asset Management P&L, ensuring accurate monthly close and GAAP compliance. Prepare and deliver financial reports and performance packs for senior business and finance leaders. Analyze revenue and expense trends, highlighting key movements and business factors. Reconcile results with Product Control, Corporate Accounting, and Fund Accounting teams. Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, aligning with corporate targets. Enhance reporting tools for improved transparency and efficiency. Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Partner with COO teams and senior leadership on high-visibility projects. Influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders in a dynamic environment. Qualifications
5-10 years of progressive FP&A, finance, or accounting experience, with Asset Management exposure. Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred. Strong understanding of AUM-based revenue models and Asset Management industry metrics. Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience in financial services is an advantage. CPA or CFA certification is highly preferred. Ability to manage complex financial data and distill insights. Strong leadership and team collaboration skills. A self-starter with a proactive approach to work.
