Job purpose
Tax Administration for serviced loans.
Duties and responsibilities Set up tax contracts for new loans with tax vendor Report, update and enter information into loan system from taxing authorities, including parcels as provided by tax service Update payment information from tax service weekly reports for both escrowed & non-escrowed loans Request advance approval for shortfalls in tax for Agency Loans Request shortfall funds from the Borrower to pay taxes. Pay any taxes due on a weekly basis for escrowed loans to tax service Follow up with non-escrowed Borrowers on past due taxes and notify clients as necessary Perform annual escrow analysis Provide the parcel and payee information to Tax Service on non-escrowed loans Monitor loan system reporting to verify timely payments. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate or Accounting preferred Minimum of 3 years of loan servicing experience, predominantly commercial real estate loan tax administration for multiple capital sources/investors Knowledge of all aspects of commercial mortgage loan servicing tax administration Strong problem-solving abilities, interpersonal and organizational skills Exceptional verbal and written communications skills Accuracy oriented with a sense of urgency and strong focus on customer service Working knowledge of Enterprise! (or similar large scale servicing system) Medium to advanced MS Office skills
