Selectek is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to join our team in Sarasota, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and civil engineering background in private/public site and civil engineering design. The Project Engineer will be working closely with multiple project managers to provide design and engineering support.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering Current Florida Engineering Intern (E.I.) and valid Driver’s License Software Experience with MS Project, Modret, ICPR (storm water software), AutoCAD Civil 3D Exposure to or a desire to practice in the discipline of Private and Public Site and Civil Engineering Design, Including Residential, Commercial, Industrial and Municipal Capital Improvement Projects Familiar with Local, State, and Federal Permitting Agencies Proficient in verbal and written communication and competencies 2+ years of experience
Nice to have:
Software Experience with MS Office, WaterCAD Exhibit strong interpersonal communication skills coupled with a friendly demeanor. Display a keen enthusiasm for generating and pursuing business opportunities. Strong self-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Job order details: This position reports directly to various Project Managers and is responsible for assisting in the detailed design of all aspects for site development projects with the opportunity for upward advancement to a Project Manager as opportunities arise. Sponsorship: No (needs to be US citizen) Pay range: $75,000 - $85,000 annual salary (will consider higher for more experience and licensure) Relocation: Yes Pay method when direct: Salaried (very limited if any OT)  Location of job: Sarasota, FL 34240 Hours and shift: Monday – Friday (8am -5pm) Work from home: No Working remote:  Not as a rule (once established, once in a while) Overtime expected: No Travel:  Some travel to job sites – day travel - on average once a week and usually within 2 hours.
