Deliver personalized one-on-one speech therapy sessions that focus on language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing mechanics. Engage in a collaborative approach with physical therapists, occupational therapists, healthcare professionals, families, and caregivers to establish integrated care plans. Provide educational resources to patients and their families to ensure continued support and progress beyond therapy sessions. Participate in inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions as needed, ensuring seamless transitions in patient care. Document patient interactions and treatment plans thoroughly in alignment with state, federal, and organizational regulations. Commit to continual professional growth through ongoing education and collaborative peer interactions. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications
Active state licensure as a
Speech Language Therapist . ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory within the first month of employment. Skills
