Position Summary
A leading company in the manufacturing sector is seeking a skilled
Maintenance Mechanic
to join its team in a dynamic, high-performance production facility. This position focuses on ensuring reliable equipment operation through proactive maintenance practices, supporting both safety and productivity on the plant floor.
Job Type:
Full-time Schedule:
Primary schedule is
1st shift (day shift) . Candidates must be willing to work
overtime, weekends, and alternate shifts
as required by operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Troubleshoot and repair equipment using tools such as power tools, welders, and diagnostic instruments Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals Use maintenance software to document tasks and observations Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other standard maintenance equipment Maintain a safe and clean working environment Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support production goals and continuous improvement initiatives Minimum Qualifications
Must be 18 years or older Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, climbing, kneeling, etc.) Comfortable working in various conditions (heat, cold, noise, dust) and at heights Basic computer skills Hands-on experience in at least one of the following: mechanical maintenance, welding, pipefitting, gearboxes, lubrication systems, pumps, hydraulics, or pneumatics Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and alternate shifts Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with industrial safety practices (e.g., hazard analysis, confined space entry) Trade school, technical training, or related military experience Experience with precision maintenance tools (e.g., laser alignment) Benefits
