Imagineeer is seeking a highly skilled Human Capital Management (HCM) Functional Analyst/Tester to support our clients in the implementation, optimization, and validation of HCM applications. This hybrid role blends deep functional expertise with robust testing capabilities to ensure solutions align with business requirements and uphold the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of HCM modules, a solid understanding of business processes, and exceptional analytical and testing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze business requirements and processes to determine appropriate HCM solutions Document functional specifications for system configurations, customizations, and integrations Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements Execute functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing for HCM implementations Identify gaps between business requirements and standard HCM functionality Recommend solutions to address business needs while minimizing customizations Document and track software defects, ensuring clear reproduction steps and expected outcomes Validate system functionality against requirements and acceptance criteria Provide functional expertise on specific HCM modules and business processes Support user acceptance testing by preparing test data and guiding business users Develop and maintain functional documentation, including business process procedures Serve as liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders Support system upgrades by testing impact on existing functionality Conduct training sessions for end users on HCM functionality Participate in go-live activities and provide post-implementation support Incident Management and helpdesk support for HRIT modules. Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field 5+ years of experience with HCM applications in a functional or testing role Strong experience with at least one major HCM module such as Time & Attendance, Performance Management, or similar functional areas across leading platforms including Workday, Oracle Fusion, or PeopleSoft Demonstrated experience in full lifecycle implementation projects Experience developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases Deep functional knowledge of HCM modules and business processes Strong understanding of HCM system architecture and functionality Experience with test planning, test case development, and test execution Knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices Strong analytical skills with ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications Experience with defect tracking and test management tools Understanding of HCM configuration options and business rules Experience validating system integrations and interfaces Strong documentation skills for requirements, specifications, and test results Knowledge of HCM reporting capabilities and tools Experience conducting user acceptance testing Strong communication skills for working with technical and business stakeholders Attention to detail and commitment to quality Experience with HCM upgrade testing and impact analysis Must be a

US citizen

and able to obtain a

Public Trust

clearance. Desired Skills and Competencies:

Experience with Human Capital Management (HCM) systems in government environments, with a strong understanding of federal business processes and regulatory requirements Experience with modern HCM platforms and version upgrades Knowledge of multiple HCM modules and cross-functional integration Hands-on experience with responsive UI functionality and user interface testing Proficient in automated testing tools and frameworks for enterprise HCM applications Familiarity with automated testing tools and methodologies Knowledge of test data management techniques Experience with performance and load testing concepts Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility testing ISTQB certification or other testing certifications Understanding of data conversion testing and validation Experience with end-to-end business process testing Knowledge of security testing and role-based access control

Compensation: $130,000.00 - $138,000.00 per year
