In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with a skilled team to conduct comprehensive due diligence, enabling precise cost estimates for various electrical construction initiatives. You will also manage the client bid submission process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

This position can be based in our Rockford, IL, Scottsdale, AZ, Indianapolis, IN, Benicia, CA, or McLeansville, NC offices. Travel Requirement:
Occasional travel (up to 2 times per month) will be necessary. We offer flexibility and career growth opportunities in dynamic work environments. Responsibilities: Prepare precise quantity surveys and estimates for assigned projects. Conduct pre-construction surveys and complete preliminary documents. Execute majority of quantity surveys and pricing estimates. Deliver detailed vendor proposal comparisons and estimate summary sheets. Conduct thorough plan reviews and obtain relevant wage rates. Collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive proposal completion. Develop and manage project schedules. Analyze contract specifications, documents, and drawings to perform takeoffs with precision. Critically assess all aspects of estimates to ensure competitive bids. Stay updated on industry-standard software and new technologies for efficient takeoff processes. Communicate effectively with Engineering Consultants and Designers to ensure accurate digital information for takeoffs. Create presentation and submittal materials utilizing basic CAD and drafting skills. Participate in occasional project site visits and pre-bid meetings. Engage in special projects and assist with other estimating duties as required. Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred. A combination of education and relevant experience may be considered. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Prior experience in the construction industry is advantageous. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
