General Summary and Purpose:
The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager is a core member of the corporate finance team of a rapidly growing organization. This role is tasked with organizing, analyzing, and reporting financial and non-financial information to both internal and external stakeholders. The role is expected to champion and support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline information flow throughout the growing BioLife environment. This position is subject to tight deadlines and performs a multitude of supporting functions to the Director of Finance. This position has contact with management, which requires strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Defines and maintains financial and operating metrics to be reported daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually, and/or in real time. Develops and maintains a running 3-year forecast for the income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows. Performs variance and trend analysis, including budget versus actual and prior period variance comparatives. Constructs and maintains capital allocation analysis models, and new product development financial analysis. Prepares annual budget materials. Contributes to acquisition, cash flow modeling, due diligence and data room management. Supports preparation of the financial components of quarterly board meeting materials Supports annual shareholder meeting and proxy filing. Supports finance and accounting team with special projects, including new software implementation and process improvements. Other Duties

Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow. Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently. Willingness to work long hours, when necessary Ability to work well with others in a fast paced, dynamic environment. This position is an on-site role in Bothell, WA
Job Specifications:
Required Experience
Bachelor or Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance 7+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, finance, accounting, or comparable roles Solid understanding of Accounting/GAAP Proficient with Microsoft Office - Outlook, Excel, Word Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning Preferred Experience:
Advanced Degree or CPA Experience with the following software and concepts: NetSuite and business intelligence tools Experience with mergers and acquisitions

The US base salary range for this position at full-time is $110,838 - $177,340 per year. Typically, new hires are brought in at or near the midpoint of the range to allow for future growth and advancement within the role. This range represents the full compensation range for this position, with consideration given to experience, skills, and qualifications. Our salary ranges are determined by position, level, location, and market competitive benchmarks. Individual pay within a level is determined by work location (including geographic pay zone region), job related skills, experience, education, and training.
