Senior Security Engineer
for a
contract
with a client in
Plano, TX.
Responsibilities include designing and deploying advanced cybersecurity platforms and ensuring zero-impact delivery of threat mitigation systems across the network.
Rate Range:
$30/hour to 37/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Senior Security Engineer job responsibilities include:
Design, implement, and maintain advanced Threat and Cybersecurity solutions to protect enterprise systems and data. Lead technical planning and execution of security initiatives, ensuring zero-impact deployment across network environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align threat solutions with evolving business and technology requirements. Engineer and deploy platforms such as SkyHigh Secure Web Gateway, F5 SSLO, and Trellix FireEye. Conduct risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend process improvements for enhanced security posture. Provide technical leadership and support during change activities, including nights and weekends as needed. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field. 6-8 years of hands-on experience in security engineering, specifically with Threat solutions. Client requires proven expertise in deploying platforms such as SkyHigh Secure Web Gateway, F5 SSLO, and Trellix FireEye. Pay Details:
$30.00 to $37.00 per hour
