Job Summary

The Network Administrator at HRM Enterprises, Inc. is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of the company's IT infrastructure. This role involves managing and optimizing VMware server environments, overseeing Microsoft Windows systems, network infrastructure, and virtual platforms, while also maintaining Active Directory services. The Network Administrator will provide technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, contribute to IT projects, handle video surveillance tasks, and deploy new systems to support the organization's diverse operations.

Key Responsibilities Server and Virtualization Management : Configure, deploy, and maintain VMware servers to ensure optimal performance and scalability for business applications. Network and Systems Administration : Oversee the operation and maintenance of Microsoft Windows environments, network infrastructure, and virtualized systems to ensure seamless connectivity and performance. Active Directory Management : Administer Microsoft Active Directory Services, including user account management, group policies, and security configurations to support organizational needs. Technical Support : Provide help desk support by reviewing, prioritizing, and resolving user requests and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Hardware Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues, including servers, workstations, and networking equipment, to minimize downtime. Software Support : Install, configure, and update software applications to ensure compatibility and functionality across systems. IT Projects : Participate in various IT initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and improve existing systems. Video Surveillance : Investigate incidents using video surveillance systems, compile relevant footage, and export materials for authorities as needed. System Deployment : Set up and deploy new workstations and systems for end users, ensuring proper configuration and integration into the network. Qualifications

Education : Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Experience : 2-4 years of experience in network administration, systems management, or a similar IT role. Technical Skills : Proficiency in VMware server administration and virtualization technologies. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server environments and Active Directory. Experience with network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Familiarity with help desk support and ticketing systems. Basic understanding of video surveillance systems and related software.

Soft Skills : Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills for interacting with end users. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Adaptability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Certifications

(Preferred): VMware Certified Professional (VCP). Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or Azure Administrator Associate. CompTIA Network+ or equivalent.
