The Dimensional Inspection Technician helps measure and inspect material and supports calibration activities for the organization working closely with our engineering teams
General Responsibilities
Interprets mechanical prints.
Collects data and conveys tests results to stakeholders
Document and record data in accordance with lab procedures.
Prepares technical reports with recommendations for solutions to technical problems.
Performs precise calibrations and preventative corrective maintenance on measuring and test equipment and tools.
Develops calibration operating procedures and documentation for all instruments.
Identify and perform preventative maintenance on equipment.

Experience / Qualifications
Relevant work experience or knowledge of the role
Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Dimensional Inspection activities include:
Mechanical print reading and GD&T interpretation
CMM program development
3D Laser scanning
Hand tool measurement
Data collection and reporting
Calibration activities include:
Process various internal calibrations for Sensata in accordance with documented procedures. Calibration parameters include:
Resistance
Current
Voltage
Pressure
Temperature
Force
Dimensional
Other
Document and record data in accordance with lab procedures
Communicate with equipment owners & requesters to convey test results and to collect/process equipment
Write and update test procedures
Identify and perform preventative maintenance on equipment
Identify and execute process and equipment improvement opportunities to drive lab efficiencies

Hourly Base Pay Range: $28.00 - $38.50
