Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to join our team as a
Customer Service Representative / Inventory Coordinator . This dual-role position is ideal for someone with prior experience in the
jewelry industry , who understands the unique requirements of fine jewelry handling, terminology, and customer expectations. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support while also managing inventory processes with accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person in a timely and professional manner Assist clients with product information, order status, returns, and repairs Maintain a strong knowledge of the jewelry product lines, materials, and industry terminology Work closely with sales and production teams to ensure customer satisfaction Handle high-value transactions and sensitive customer concerns with discretion and care Inventory Coordination:
Track, manage, and reconcile inventory of jewelry items using inventory management systems Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, including repairs and special orders Maintain organized records of stock levels, locations, and movement Assist with labeling, tagging, and quality control of new inventory Requirements: Previous experience in the jewelry industry is required
(retail, wholesale, manufacturing, or repair) Strong customer service and communication skills High attention to detail and ability to multitask Proficiency in inventory software and MS Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.) Ability to handle fine jewelry with care and understand product details (e.g., gemstones, metals, sizing) Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Preferred Qualifications: Experience with jewelry-specific POS or inventory systems (e.g., The Edge, Lightspeed, etc.) Knowledge of GIA or other gemological certifications Bilingual a plus
