Job Title:
Remote Tekla Detailer - PEMB & Steel Buildings
Overview: We are seeking an experienced
Tekla Detailer
with a strong background in
Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB)
and
conventional steel building systems
(not structural steel). The ideal candidate will have
4-6 years of hands-on detailing experience
and a deep understanding of fabrication requirements, connection details, and shop drawing standards. This position is
fully remote
and offers long-term stability with a team-oriented company.
Responsibilities: Prepare, revise, and maintain
detailed 3D Tekla models
for PEMB and steel building projects.
Produce accurate
shop drawings, erection plans, and part details
based on engineering designs and project specifications.
Review design drawings and specifications to ensure compliance and constructability.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and fabrication teams to resolve design or detailing issues.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining schedules and quality standards.
Perform model checks and ensure alignment with company standards and client expectations.
Qualifications:
4-6 years of experience
detailing
PEMB and steel building systems
(non-structural steel).
Proficiency in Tekla Structures
is required.
Solid understanding of building framing systems, connections, and shop fabrication processes.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Effective communication and time management skills.
