About the Role
Selectek is seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer to provide technical leadership on roadway and roundabout projects. You’ll lead design using MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer (ORD), mentor junior staff, and coordinate with agencies across Georgia.
What You’ll Do
Serve as senior project engineer for roadway, sidewalk/shoulder, and drainage design. Lead plan production (geometry, signing & pavement marking, MOT/staging, erosion control). Prepare opinions of cost, reports, and technical documentation. Coordinate with GDOT and local municipalities to ensure compliance with standards/specs. Review, QA/QC, and mentor junior engineers/designers. Partner with PMs and clients on scope, schedule, and deliverables.
What We’re Looking For
PE license (GA preferred). BS in Civil Engineering (or Civil Engineering Technology). 15+ years of transportation/roadway design experience, including roundabouts. Proficiency with MicroStation V8i/InRoads and OpenRoads Designer (ORD); AutoCAD a plus. Familiarity with GDOT Plan Development Process and Georgia local projects. Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.

Compensation & Hiring Process
Base: Target ~$110k–$130k+ DOE (flexible up to ~$140k for exceptional profiles; do not anchor on top end). Bonuses: Annual bonus eligibility; potential sign-on bonus. Interviews: Virtual (Teams)? Onsite (strong indicator of fit).
