Orientation starts on August 4, 2025. We have an immediate need starting May 21, 2026. Bilingual in Spanish and English is required. Role Overview: As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will create and implement individualized education and treatment programs for students facing communication challenges due to developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. You will work within a nurturing school environment, significantly impacting students' developmental journeys. Key Responsibilities: Provide therapy and interventions based on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to address communication disorders. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and specialists to devise and execute strategies that promote students' speech, language, and communication skills. Utilize your expertise in speech and language assessments, goal-setting, and progress monitoring to ensure students receive tailored support. Document all services, assessments, and interventions accurately, maintaining compliance with district and state standards. Qualifications: Master's degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology. Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language endorsement (or Type 73, Type 10, Type 03/09). Bilingual in Spanish is a must.
