Essential Duties and
Responsibilities.
Other duties may be assigned:
Study production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
Examine product for conformance to specifications and quality standards.
Demonstrate methods and train workers in sequence of processing tasks and operation and control of machines and equipment.
Maintain time and production records, and prepare cost, yield, breakage, and maintenance reports.
Inventory and requisition tools, equipment, and supplies for department activities.
Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of department.
Interpret company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems.
Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
Understand and monitor ESD policies and requirements.
Perform activities of workers supervised.
Examine product for conformance to specifications and quality standards.
Training production associates in proper and safe techniques in order to safely produce quality products while maximizing output.
Assist Supervisor II or III in following company policies in supervision of regular and temporary associates.
The successful candidate will possess:
Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic math skills.
Basic computer skills for data entry.
Ability to exercise good judgement.
Ability to work weekday and weekend overtime as required.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as Engineering drawings, bills of material, routings, company policies, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Excellent attendance.
Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
Physical demands representative of those met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions. Required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Required to stand, walk, sit, lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
