$20.00 - $35.00 (DOE)

Job description Seeking Dimensional Inspector to perform visual and dimensional inspection on repair and overhaul of landing gear and hydraulic components for Boeing MD/DC, Boeing 7-series, Bombardier Q-400, and Lockheed applications.

Dimensional inspections of cylinders and pistons.

Responsibilities include

Evaluation and disposition of in-service landing gear and hydraulic components for wear and corrosion through

visual and dimensional inspection using measuring tools such as OD/ID Micrometers (Standard, not digital) Height Gauges, Bore Gages and indicators To ensure all articles are maintained in accordance with the customers continuous airworthiness program To work in conjunction with, and provide technical support to machinists, operators, technicians and various department leads to solve technical issues To ensure all maintenance is documented in accordance with internal, customer, OEM and FAA requirements, including documentation of maintenance performed on the work order/ traveler, bill of materials, picture sheets, and logs Implementation of customer and OEM technical data into repair schemes

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

The ability to read, write and understand English Must be able to perform measurements using inspection tools such as, but not limited too; micrometers, dial bore gages, telescope gages, height gages, and indicators Ability to program CNC operations using Fanuc programming language Ability to read and understand OHM/ CMM's, blueprints, shop travelers and sketches Ability to identify different plated surfaces such as chrome plate, nickel plate, and various thermal sprayed surfaces General knowledge of set-up, loading and adjusting machines and equipment Practical experience with the procedures, practices, inspection methods, materials, tools and equipment generally used in the work for which the repair station is rated.
