The estimated school year begins May 21, 2026. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required. Role Overview: As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you will design and implement personalized education plans for students facing communication challenges due to developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. This role allows you to work in a nurturing school environment and make a significant difference in students' growth. Key Responsibilities: Provide therapy and interventions as outlined in each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) to address communication disorders. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and specialists to develop strategies that enhance speech, language, and communication development. Conduct assessments and monitor progress, ensuring students receive appropriate support and accommodations. Document all provided services and interventions, adhering to district and state requirements. Qualifications: Master’s degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology. Illinois PEL with Speech-Language endorsement (or Type 73, Type 10, or Type 03/09). Bilingual in Spanish is a must. SLP-CFYs are welcome to apply. Benefits: Comprehensive Insurance:
