Experience: Minimum years of experience required.
License: Current RN Licensure
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (all through AHA or RQI only), NIHSS
Must-Have: Ability to float between facilities; accountable care to diverse populations; strong communication and technical skills.
Description: The Registered Nurse applies knowledge of nursing theory and skills in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients and families.
The Registered Nurse assesses patient needs and develops a plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
Direct patient care is provided, progress is evaluated, and care delivery is coordinated throughout the patient's episode.
The RN develops specialized skills to care for patients with medical conditions.
Care is provided to adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations.
Patient and family education is a key responsibility to encourage understanding of self-care beyond hospitalization.
The Registered Nurse promotes comfort and provides emotional support in a healing environment.
Assessment of patient and family needs is conducted through active listening and observation.
A culturally relevant and individualized plan of care is created based on assessed health problems.
In collaboration with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members, goals are set, and progress is monitored.
The RN adjusts plans based on patient responses or changes in conditions.

Mutual trust and cooperation among team members are encouraged to achieve the best possible outcomes.
