We are excited to invite dedicated part-time School Occupational Therapists to support students in pre-kindergarten and elementary settings in the Waukegan, IL area for the 2025-26 school year. In this role, you will work on essential skills such as Activities of Daily Living (ADL), attentional challenges, assistive technology use, executive functioning, fine and gross motor development, sensory processing, and visual motor skills. Qualifications: Master's Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy Current Illinois Occupational Therapy License Pediatric or school-based experience preferred but not required. Role Overview: As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in assessing student needs, developing tailored intervention plans, and helping students achieve their academic, social, and physical goals. This is an incredible opportunity to work closely with young learners and contribute to their growth in a nurturing school environment. Job Details: Flexible schedule: 3-4 days a week, 20-25 hours. Start ASAP for the upcoming school year, with potential summer hours. School-based setting. Caseload includes prek-8th grade students. In-person only work. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate students' motor, sensory, and functional abilities to create individualized therapy plans. Implement targeted interventions to support students in achieving their IEP goals. Collaborate with educators and specialists to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
