This is a pivotal leadership role where you will enhance and integrate the NIST-based Risk Management Framework across our information systems. With a focus on IT, OT, and digital transformation, you will play a key role in safeguarding our organization's assets. As the CISO, you're responsible for: Maintaining a comprehensive inventory of all authorization boundaries. Integrating risk-balanced security measures into our architecture. Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders, including federal customers, to bolster our cybersecurity program. Leading a skilled team, managing compliance activities, and establishing measurable cyber metrics to evaluate program effectiveness. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and possess at least 15 years of technical experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory capacity. Your background should include cyber operations and risk management expertise, covering areas like intrusion detection/prevention, log management, network security, and vulnerability scanning. Familiarity with federal cybersecurity and risk management requirements, particularly NIST Special Publications, is essential. This role requires strong communication skills, initiative to tackle emerging cyber threats, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
