Job Description

A validation and quality assurance provider are looking to hire a

IBM Maximo Trainer . This is a

six-to-twelve-month

assignment for a project located in

Rensselaer, NY . Hourly rate $40.00

Overview: We are seeking an experienced

IBM Maximo Trainer

to provide instructor-led training and hands-on support for our enterprise asset management (EAM) program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IBM Maximo functionality, asset lifecycle management, and user education across multiple departments within a GMP or industrial environment. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver

instructor-led training sessions

on IBM Maximo for diverse user groups, including Engineering, Maintenance, Facilities, Calibration, and Operations teams. Create and maintain

training materials , job aids, and quick reference guides tailored to department-specific needs. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to

understand system configurations, workflows, and reporting functionalities . Provide

hands-on support

and guidance to users for daily use of Maximo - from asset creation and preventive maintenance scheduling to work order tracking and reporting. Support the

rollout of new modules or features

within Maximo, ensuring consistent user adoption and process alignment. Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness; identify and implement improvements to enhance learning outcomes. Serve as an internal subject matter expert for IBM Maximo system functionality and best practices in enterprise asset management. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience with IBM Maximo , including training or system administration experience. Proven experience delivering technical training to cross-functional teams. Strong understanding of

asset lifecycle management

and maintenance processes. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work on-site and collaborate directly with multiple departments. Preferred Experience:

Familiarity with GMP or regulated environments (pharmaceutical, biotech, or manufacturing). Experience in developing eLearning content or blended training programs. Working knowledge of related enterprise systems (SAP, CMMS, etc.).
