Job Description ID: 73282655 Shift: 12H Nights 7p-7a, weekends as needed, float to other locations as needed Description: Unit Notes: MedSol interview/Offer Department: Float Pool | CNA 1 year of acute hospital CNA experience and prior travel experience required (no exceptions) Experience with Foley and IV Removal required - Unit: Clinical Support Unit - CNA Float Pool- What units are included in the float pool: Will cover 7 MedSurg Units between Boise, Meridian, and Nampa. Can also float to any facility to be a 1:1 sitter in any area.- CNA:Patient Ratios: 1:8-10 depending on floor Required Certifications: BLS, CNA certification- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Will get from unit managers- Experience or 'Must have' skills: 1 year hospital CNA experience and prior travel experience.- Job Duties: Vitals, ADLs, blood sugars.- Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift: Yes.- Shifts & Scheduling: 0700-1900 or 1900-0700. No self-scheduling.- Weekend Requirements: as needed- Holiday Requirements: Will fill in if there is a need.- Is there a call or standby requirement: No- How are units assigned: Travelers will have an app, 1 hour before shift starts will see what hospital and unit you are going to. All hospitals are about 20 minutes apart, all are right off the interstate, safe parking available at all locations. Travelers will be 1st to float can midshift float- can float at any time during shift to different units and facilities, whenever there is a need.- Scrub Color/Dress Code: No specific color as long as clean and professional.- How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: Meet and greet day 1 of orientation. 3 shifts of inpatient orientation. This facility has a radius rule of 50 miles. To ensure adherence to this rule, we will require the candidates' perm address in the submittal to confirm they are outside of that specified radius before proceeding with the profile review.
