We are currently seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and service-focused
Director of Food & Beverage
to lead and elevate all aspects of our F&B operations.
Position Overview
The Director of Food & Beverage will oversee the strategic and operational leadership of all food and beverage outlets at Hotel Hartness, including our signature restaurant, bar, in-room dining, catering, and banquet operations. This role is responsible for ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction, driving revenue, optimizing costs, and leading a team dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and strategic direction for all F&B operations. Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, bar, banquet events, in-room dining, and other culinary experiences. Develop and implement department budgets, forecasts, and financial goals in alignment with hotel targets. Recruit, train, mentor, and retain a high-performing food & beverage team. Ensure consistent execution of exceptional guest service standards. Monitor guest feedback and implement action plans to ensure continuous improvement. Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team on menu development, food quality, and presentation. Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations. Drive innovation and elevate the overall guest dining experience. Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Events teams to support group business and special functions. Analyze financial data and trends to make informed operational decisions. Maintain supplier relationships and oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control Experience and Skills Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years progressive leadership experience in luxury hotel or upscale restaurant food & beverage operations. Proven experience in managing budgets, forecasting, and driving revenue. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of industry trends, fine dining service standards, and modern culinary practices. Hands-on, team-oriented leader with a guest-first mindset. ServSafe and/or TIPS certification preferred.
