Summary
Manages residential real estate property by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates. The Manager acts as the official representative on-site for the organization. This is a temporary position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Discusses with the client the terms and conditions for providing management services, and drafts an agreement stipulating the extent and scope of management responsibilities, services to be performed, and costs for services. Prepares lease or rental agreements for lessees and collects specified rents and impounds. Directs bookkeeping functions, or credits client account for receipts and debits account for disbursements such as mortgage, taxes, and insurance premium payments, management services costs, and upkeep and maintenance costs. Arranges for alterations to, or maintenance, upkeep, or reconditioning of property as specified in management services or lessee's agreement. Purchases supplies and equipment for use on leased properties. Directs the preparation of financial statements and reports on the status of properties, such as occupancy rates and dates of expiration of leases. Directs the issuance of a check for monies due the client. Responds to emergency calls and situations as required. Assists with the eviction of tenants in compliance with court orders and directions from the supervisor. Communicates and interacts with residents individually or in groups as required. The position may require driving. Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises two to four employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 4 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of YARDI is a plus. LIHTC Experience Preferred. Section 8 Experience preferred. Check- Scan / Payscan experience. Tax Credit Experience 3+ years preferred
