Overview:
We are seeking a full-time, detail-oriented and experienced individual to manage the day-to-day financial transactions of the company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts
Monitor financial transactions and reports
Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner
Maintain an accurate general ledger
Prepare financial reports through collection, analysis, and summarization of data
Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Work closely with accountants during audits or tax season
Qualifications:
Proven bookkeeping experience
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage)
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong organizational and time management skills
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
