Position Summary

:

As the Director, Contracts Management, you will support the Pharma Services Group (PSG) by negotiating a variety of customer-facing and supplier agreements supporting CDMO and/or clinical trial service solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for building and leading teams and contributing as part of the contract leadership team within the legal organization at PSG.

Responsibilities:

Build, mentor, and lead a team of successful contract professionals

Review, draft, and be accountable for various revenue-generating contracts for PSG in accordance with company policies and procedures

Support the development and submission of customer-facing quotations, tenders, and proposals

Assess risks and serve as a SME to provide guidance to internal cross-functional teams on legal, financial, regulatory, contract, and other business concerns

Collaborate with internal partners to assemble, review and approve final contract documents and related terms

Maintain accurate, timely, and complete records within the contracts team's central repository

Help with miscellaneous contract-related tasks to support commercial activities, like drafting letters, responding to customer questions, assessing risks, summarizing requirements, etc.

Drive process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiencies and standardization, such as drafting and improving templates, optimizing playbooks, process updates, etc.

Participate in contract-related special projects across PSG (e.g., training, integration, launching new campaigns, mentorship, etc.)

Support other duties as assigned to meet business needs

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with relevant formal academic/vocational qualification; advanced degree or JD a plus

10+ years of commercial and international contracts experience, including contract negotiations, pre and post RFP activities, and contract administration, preferably in a commercial CDMO environment

5+ years of experience leading, supervising and motivating a contracts team

Proven experience in supporting complex, long-term, high-value contracts with a detailed understanding of commercial, domestic, and international legal terms and conditions and their contracting processes

The ability to foster positive relationships internally and externally at all levels, as applicable

Strong analytical and organizational skills to succeed in a fast-paced environment and handle constantly evolving priorities

Highly attentive individual who demonstrates a customer-centric approach, good judgment, strong work ethic, professional integrity, and attention to detail

Must be flexible to work various hours as needed to complete tasks

Advanced MS Office and Word skills. SFDC experience is a plus
