Job Description Medium size facility in the Bluegrass state is looking for experienced Cath Lab/IR Nurse travelers to fulfill 13 week travel assignments, starting ASAP. Candidates should have at least 2 years experience, including a strong background in IR. Call is to be expected ACLS and BLS certifications are necessary along with current KY/Compact license. Unit Description Cath/Interventional Radiology: Level I Trauma Center, Designated Stroke Center This is a very high acuity IR lab - WILL CONSIDER CATH LAB CANDIDATE but must have IR Call and weekend rotation. IF you have a Cath lab Candidate who is open to working on a high acuity IR floor and is willing to learn the below or has a basic understanding of it, please submit. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Interventional Radiology RN with at least 2 years of similar Level 1 Trauma IR experience; Previous Cath Lab experience preferred. MUST have critical care skills, chemo embos, and aneurysm coiling experience; Vents, IV Start, Circulate, Telemetry, Conscious Sedation; ACLS and BCLS Manager would consider 1 year IR if strong similar IR experience. Typical Patients: high acuity patients for all types of IR procedures except cardiac. FLOAT REQUIRED Pre/Post DOCUMENTATION SYSTEM: Cerner
