Biena is looking for an experienced CPG Category Development Manager with a strong entrepreneurial spirit to join our team as we establish Biena as the leader in Natural Snacks. This person will work with Biena's Sales Team and Leadership Team to develop Biena's sales strategy based on analysis of sales and shipment trends. This person will also drive efficiency of trade spend, based on analysis of promotions and programs at key retailers. This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and wants to have a big impact at a fast-growing company. Biena's culture is collaborative, team-oriented and fun. And there are plenty of free snacks! This is a hybrid position with 4 days a week onsite in Waltham, Massachusetts. Responsibilities:

Lead the development of fact-based sales presentations that are visually compelling and persuasive, in order to help grow sales, distribution points and market share for Biena Prepare and provide monthly "state of the business" report for Biena's leadership and sales teams, including customer scorecards and KPIs that provide tracking of sales to forecast accuracy Attend category review meetings at retailers as requested by sales Lead the sales forecasting process in coordination with Biena's sales team and cross-functional partners in Operations and Finance. Accurately forecast sales by item by month by customer Track trade spend effectiveness. Analyze promotions at key retailers to optimize sales lift and cost/ROI Prepare monthly broker scorecards and ad hoc sales reporting and analysis as needed Analyze syndicated data (SPINS/Circana) to understand sales performance & identify growth opportunities Manage the company's relationship with syndicated data providers including Circana, SPINS and more Attend and work trade shows or other selling events - either virtually or in person - as appropriate Who You Are

Qualifications: 5+ years proven success as a sales analyst, category manager or sales account manager role Experience in natural food preferred, ideally natural snacks Experience working with UNFI, KeHE and other natural food distributors Demonstrated ability to analyze syndicated data (Circana, Nielsen or SPINS) to identify growth opportunities Experience creating fact-based selling presentations that are visually compelling and persuasive Demonstrated success at forecasting items to the item / customer level via partnerships with brokers Benefits Salary and bonus commensurate with experience Medical, dental and vision benefits 401(k) Equity Paid holidays and flexible PTO Free product
