Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Finance , this role will be responsible for developing and executing a long-term IT strategy aligned with business goals, prioritizing high-impact investments, and leading the implementation of SAP S/4HANA ERP . This highly collaborative and visible role requires a leader with strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of business and manufacturing processes, and experience in leading and delivering an ERP transformation. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who can translate business needs into scalable IT solutions and foster strong partnerships across departments.
This position is Hybrid and will work in the Wheeling, IL corporate office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Essential Functions Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Develop and execute a forward-looking IT strategy aligned with Richelieu's business objectives and growth plans. Champion a business-first mindset within the IT organization to ensure alignment with enterprise goals. Lead cross-functional initiatives to modernize business processes and enhance operational efficiency through technology. Establish and oversee a robust Master Data Management (MDM) strategy to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all business systems. Collaborate with functional leaders to define data ownership, governance policies, and quality standards that support enterprise reporting and analytics. Lead the planning, execution, and governance of the SAP S/4HANA implementation, ensuring alignment with business requirements, timelines, and budgets. Oversee system integration, data migration, testing, training, and change management activities. Ensure successful adoption and long-term sustainability of the new ERP platform. Oversee the management of IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, and support services. Establish and maintain IT governance frameworks, policies, and controls to ensure compliance, security, and operational excellence. Monitor and manage IT performance metrics, service levels, and risk mitigation strategies. Identify emerging technologies and trends that can drive innovation and competitive advantage, then develop a business case with investment amount, resources required, change management plan, and expected ROI. Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and alignment with strategic priorities that prioritizes IT investments based on business value, ROI, and risk. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service level agreements to maximize value and performance. Communicate complex technical concepts in clear, business-friendly language to stakeholders at all levels. Facilitate collaboration across departments to ensure alignment and buy-in for IT initiatives. Essential Skills and Abilities
Results-oriented, metrics-driven leader with expertise in leading and transforming IT organizations. Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to deliver to deadlines with strong follow-up skills, problem resolution, and strategic thinking. Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex issues in an easy-to-understand way. Demonstrated leadership ability with highly effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to resolve conflicting interests Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond to changing situations Education/Certification
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science MBA or Masters in STEM disciplines preferred Experience
10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, ideally in a CPG or other Manufacturing Company. Knowledge of compliance standards and regulatory requirements relevant to IT systems and data.

The following information is provided in accordance with certain state and local laws. Compensation depends on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. The expected compensation for this role is between $180,000 and $200,000. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan bonus. Benefits for this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, 401K with company match, short-term and long-term disability, and life insurance.
