Description

A Roll Clamp Tuck Operator is responsible for safely operating and managing a roll clamp truck to load/unload material/ supplies and finished goods to and from loading docks or storage facilities and to specific machines.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/ DUTIES

Operation Use sit down forklift, roll clamp truck (process specific), and manual and/or electric pallet jack as required to safely transport product and material among loading, processing, and storage areas, and to load and unload trucks Use Warehouse Management System to maintain transactions that validate the processing and disposition of product and materials sent to the warehouse. Use RF scanner to scan transactions to the system Load and unload product and material manually or mechanically from pallets or skids for transport to designated areas Pick, wrap, and stage orders to be shipped and create and generate and attach label as required Perform and document daily inspection of the forklift and other material handling equipment and follow reporting procedure to communicate and resolve any maintenance or safety issues Support

Assist with training new warehouse employees Assist with daily, monthly and year end cycle counts Assist with inventory planning in the finished goods warehouse Help and direct truck drivers to the proper dock Reporting and Record Keeping

Record data on specified forms and complete required documentation Receiving paperwork and creating BOL in SAP Compliance/Other Tasks

Perform housekeeping and sanitation tasks to maintain a clean and maintain an orderly work area Comply with all company policies and procedures including GMP, PPE, HACCP, OSHA standards and JSA regulations Responsible for ensuring, where applicable, the product safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and legality of all products produced and sold Able to load and unload trucks Able to receive in product in SAP whether from vendors, or from a different plant Verify customers POs to ensure trucks are loaded with the correct order Requirements

Education:

High school diploma, but previous work-related skill, knowledge, and experience is needed.

Experience : A minimum one-year forklift experience in a manufacturing environment

Certification/ Licenses:

Must successfully complete forklift certification requirements and complete process specific clamp truck certification, as required.

Other Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Proficient in Warehouse Operations and Inventory Management : Skilled in using RF scanners for WMS transactions, ensuring inventory accuracy, operating manual and electric pallet jacks, and understanding safety and quality procedures. Effective Communication and Basic Math Skills : Ability to read and comprehend operational documents, communicate effectively with supervisors and team members, and perform basic mathematical tasks like counting. Working Environment:

Safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, and steel-toed shoes are required. In addition, task specific PPE may be required. Our Manufacturing plant is not environmentally controlled. Changes in humidity and temperature occur throughout the year.

Physical Demands:

This job requires the ability to remain stationary, bend, operate controls, frequently reach with arms, and occasionally push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds. It also demands strong vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
