Position Overview:
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced
Travel Med Surg/Telemetry RN
for a facility in
Rome, NY . This role requires strong cardiac, IV, and wound care skills, and flexibility to float to Med Surg units. Every other weekend and holiday coverage is required.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care to Med Surg and Telemetry patients
Administer and manage IV therapy, cardiac drips, and monitor telemetry strips
Perform wound care and other nursing interventions as needed
Float to Med Surg units as required
Document care accurately in facility charting system
Complete additional 8 hours of CEUs as part of facility orientation
Requirements:
Active NYS RN license
BLS and ACLS required
Minimum 2 years Med Surg/Telemetry experience required
(less may be considered for experienced caregivers familiar with cardiac drips and tele strips)
Strong IV skills and telemetry monitoring experience required
NIH Stroke certification required prior to start
Ability to work every other weekend and holiday
Travel experience preferred
