Job Description
We are seeking full-time Structural Steel Welders and Fitters to join our 1st Shift. Responsibilities include: Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately Set up welding equipment and maintain proper safety protocols Inspect materials, structures, and products to ensure quality standards are met Measure and cut materials according to specifications Maintain welding equipment and work area Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment Qualifications
We would like to hear from you if you have the following:
Able to lift up to 50 pounds Safety conscious Have good attendance Able to work overtime Have knowledge of drawing language and symbols (for Fitter position) Are able to use steel hand working tools Previous welding experience preferred Pass a welders certification test Have the ability to safely operate overhead cranes Knowledge of minor welding machine maintenance is helpful Knowledge of oxy/acetylene torches and measuring devices, i.e. tapes, squares and levels
