We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Peer Support Specialist to provide individualized support and advocacy for clients navigating mental health challenges, housing instability, and recovery goals. This role involves working directly with clients to build life skills, access resources, and promote independence through a recovery-oriented approach. The ideal candidate will have lived experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to empowering others.

Key Duties:

Assist clients with daily living skills, hygiene, nutrition, and household tasks Support clients in financial management, transportation access, and health services navigation Provide guidance on coping strategies, symptom management, and recovery goals Facilitate access to benefits, entitlements, and community resources Advocate for clients with internal teams and external service providers Monitor case requirements and assist with completing forms and applications Identify high-risk situations and help clients follow program protocols Provide transportation to appointments and community services as needed Research and recommend new activities to enhance program offerings Qualifications:

Two years of experience in human services or direct client support, or equivalent education Associate degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, or related field preferred Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist (Nevada Certification Board) Valid driver's license required at time of appointment CPR/First Aid/AED certification (must be obtained within six months of hire) Lived experience with homelessness or mental health conditions strongly valued Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
