POSITION SUMMARY:

At F&M, our Commercial/Ag Loan Servicing Specialists complete various Commercial/Ag Loan maintenance to provide our customers with seamless loan experience. OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE: Serve customers by managing documents, information, and financial transactions successfully and in an organized, efficient, and secure manner Build awareness of new products and services, and identify customer needs to capitalize on the business referral opportunities Work as a team with other departments to complete daily tasks, demonstrating respect and professionalism, being prompt, and supporting management with special request as needed Help our customers and employees realize their best lives RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receive and work daily loan maintenance requests changing sensitive information on the main frame system in a timely manner. Review, approve, and process transactions in accordance with the Bank's policies and procedures. Review and approve commercial construction loan draws, ensuring draw request and documentation complies with policies and procedures. Review commercial construction loan reports for expired draw periods and convert loans when project is completed. Review and work Tickler Report for loan renewals, construction conversion, and other future dated loan maintenance items. Monitor and continue UCC Filings to maintain accurate secured collateral and monitor other clean up reports for UCC Filings. Focus on monitoring for Participation loans, Swap loans, and SBA loans. Processing payments and reporting for these types of loans. Balance various GLs and Deposit accounts that pertain to participation, Swap, SBA loans and secondary market loans. Review and monitor insurance policies to protect the banks interest in collateral with adequate insurance coverage. Work on special projects as assigned with acquisition/merger clean up and audit finding clean-up. Comply and satisfactorily pass tests for bank policy and regulatory compliance that apply to position. Work closely with the audit team to identify and eliminate possible audit issues. Stay in compliance with current requirements, regulations, and laws. Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

One to three years banking and/or loan experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. One-year Certificate from college or technical school; Preferred but not required. General knowledge of bank operations, lending and information technology. Experience with and efficiency in using Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook. Excellent written and oral communication, customer service handling interactions professionally, and time-management skills Ability to pass a background check Strong dedication to accuracy and efficiency Excellent organizational and time management skills Capable of handling customer and teammate contact situations tactfully and professionally. ** This position is scheduled to work Monday - Friday, 8-5, occasional extended hours as needed to accommodate the flow of business.

COMPLIANCE:

As generally applicable to F&M Bank and commensurate with these job functions, this job role includes accountabilities for following Bank policies and related procedures, as well as regulatory requirements involving federal and state laws, regulations, and related guidance. Compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), including accurate completion of Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) when applicable, Anti-Money Laundering Act (AML), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) and the USA PATRIOT Act. Adhere to Customer Identification, Customer Due Diligence and reporting of suspicious activities to the BSA Department. NON-EXEMPT/HOURLY COMPETENCIES:
