Experienced Electro-Mechanical Technicians Wanted – November 6th ONSITE Job Fair from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm at 1400 North Goodman Street, Rochester, NY 14609!

Electro-Mechanical Technicians
is growing, and we have openings available for people who have performed equipment repairs for at least 2 years.
Electro-Mechanical Technicians
– 2+ years of experience in equipment repair and preventative maintenance. This position is made for you if you love solving problems, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain high-speed manufacturing equipment, work alongside engineers and operations techs, and play a key role in minimizing downtime.
Work Schedule:
We offer **two options **— both 12-hour shifts with built-in overtime and days off:
**Rotating Day/Night Shift: **Week 1: Mon/Tues (6 AM–6 PM), Fri/Sat/Sun (6 PM–6 AM) - Week 2: Wed/Thurs (6 AM–6 PM)
**Straight Night Shift: **6 PM–6 AM, following a 2-2-3 schedule

Responsibilities:
Work on a maintenance team alongside Operations technicians and Engineers in a cross-functional team setting to minimize machine downtime and improve line output.
Troubleshoot, repair, and properly document machine issues.
Troubleshoot/diagnose PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers)/HMI (Human Machine Interface) control systems software when possible.
Perform and document preventative maintenance as required.
Communicate machine issues/downtime to other shifts as well as supervisor/management.
Assist with offline machine rebuilds or prep-work.
Ability to work Bausch + Lomb twelve hour rotational shift schedule is required.
Minimal travel to support equipment build/integration and/or training may be required.
Support of plant manufacturing equipment systems under the direction of the Plant Maintenance Supervisor.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Technical apprenticeship or Associates degree in related electrical or mechanical field , but job experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
Specialized Skills:
Knowledge of OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act)requirements, basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook) .
Experience:
Minimum 2 years in technician role performing equipment repairs and preventative maintenance.
Medical device or other regulated industry documentation experience beneficial.
Attention to detail, excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment are essential.
Special Skills:
Understanding cGMP and experience in clean room environment .
Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and electrical prints required.
Demonstrated problem solving and strong troubleshooting skills.
PLC troubleshooting skills desirable.
Programming/troubleshooting robots (SCARA, FANUC, Staubli, IAI) and servo motors desirable.
Injection mold machine experience (electric and hydraulic) desirable.
You should be proficient in:
