Deliver tailored speech therapy sessions emphasizing communication, language proficiency, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques. Engage in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to craft comprehensive care approaches. Provide education and resources to patients and families to support development and progress beyond therapy sessions. Occasionally perform inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout treatment. Keep meticulous and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational requirements. Enhance your professional knowledge through continuous education and exchanges with peers. Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if not already ASHA-certified. Certifications
Current state licensure as a
Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hiring. Attributes We Value
