Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 11/10/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Hybrid Cath Lab/IR Technologist with at least 18 months of experience and current ARRT, BLS, and ACLS certifications. Responsibilities Work in a dual-role position covering both the catheterization lab and interventional radiology in a short-term acute care setting Day shifts primarily from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with shifts as early as 6:30 AM depending on the schedule Rotating after-hours call shifts required, including approximately 10 call shifts per month with 3-hour call backs Weekend coverage required every third weekend First-time travelers are welcome Floating may be required to other hospital units or affiliate hospitals Holiday requirement is to work two out of three major holidays, with guaranteed Thanksgiving off and required work on either Christmas or New Year's Cerner is used for charting and EMR documentation Free parking is provided Responsibilities include performing procedures in both the cath lab and interventional radiology settings Orientation and initial training will be provided Scrub attire expectation is standard for procedure areas Travelers may be expected to float between hospital departments and nearby affiliate hospitals as needed Returning employees or travelers must have a 12-month gap before being eligible for a travel contract RTO policy allows for auto-approval of 5 days or less of requested time off Both block schedules and local candidates are open for discussion Requirements Minimum of 18 months of experience as a Cath Lab or IR Technologist Current ARRT R, BLS, and ACLS certifications are required Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program is required Active Indiana or Compact State License required by start date; pending state license accepted if start is more than two weeks away Demonstrated proficiency in both interventional radiology and cath lab procedures is essential Experience with Cerner charting is required License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-625414.
