The Nonprofit Advisory team empowers mission-driven organizations to overcome financial and operational challenges with confidence. Focused exclusively on the nonprofit sector, we deliver tailored strategies to improve financial reporting, streamline operations, and strengthen compliance. From CFO advisory and audit prep to grants management and succession planning, Forvis Mazars takes a collaborative, hands-on approach that aligns with each client's unique mission. What You Will Do: Support a variety of financial, accounting, and compliance projects, with a strong emphasis on nonprofit organizations. Assist with outsourced accounting services, including: Preparation of general ledger entries and financial statements Month-end and year-end close support Account and bank reconciliations Audit preparation and documentation Conduct operational and financial assessments of clients' finance departments, evaluating processes, policies, procedures, and internal controls. Contribute to the development and refinement of financial and operational policies and procedures. Coordinate and manage calendars and meetings for client engagements and internal team collaboration. Perform industry and technical research to support the creation of tailored client solutions. Leverage technology and best practices to streamline internal processes and enhance project efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field 1+ years of relevant experience in nonprofit accounting or consulting Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree Prior consulting experience Current and valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license #LI-DFW
