Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence (BI) Developer

to support a government agency in executing metric procedures for statutory and ad hoc reporting, resolving data discrepancies, and developing an automated data framework. The ideal candidate will be a strong individual contributor with deep expertise in

SQL Server, ETL processes, Python , and

business intelligence tools , along with excellent documentation and team training skills.

Responsibilities:

Execute existing metric procedures for reporting and data quality assessments. Design and implement an

end-to-end automation framework

for data processing using Microsoft tools. Develop SQL Server solutions to load, transform, and analyze vendor-provided and internal data. Create and document data quality checks and automation processes. Perform geocoding assessments using tools like

Census Geocoder

(preferred). Train division staff on the usage and maintenance of the automated framework. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Lead data-related projects and create high-level project plans with estimates. Produce clear, concise documentation and procedural guides.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 8 years of experience in software development and programming. 8+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, and Microsoft SQL tools. Strong expertise (8+ years) in ETL development using Microsoft Visual Studio. Proficiency in Python and business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau (8+ years). Proven project leadership experience spanning 8+ years. Extensive experience (8+ years) in creating technical documentation. Demonstrated ability to train and mentor team members (8+ years). Solid experience in performing data quality and validation checks (8+ years). Excellent communication and collaboration skills developed over 8+ years. Experience with Census Geocoder (preferred). Familiarity with working with APIs (preferred).
