Job Position: Terraform Architect
Location: Stamford, CT - hybrid onsite
Duration: Long Term Contract
Job Description:
Design, build, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Use Terraform as the primary IaC tool Automate infrastructure deployments and operations using Python Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications Ensure secure, reliable, and consistent deployment workflows Collaborate with cross-functional teams for Azure integration and support Monitor and troubleshoot Azure resources for performance and availability Continuously adopt and implement best practices in cloud technologies Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience 2-5 years of hands-on Azure cloud engineering and automation experience Strong expertise in Terraform for infrastructure automation Proficient in Python scripting for automation and infrastructure tasks Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins Skilled in Git and version control workflows Comfortable working in fully automated, code-centric environments Solid understanding of Azure services (VMs, Functions, App Services, Blob Storage, Azure SQL, Azure AD, ARM) Experience with Azure DevOps tools (Pipelines, Repos, Boards) Proficiency with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows Server Familiar with Bash and PowerShell scripting Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs, Load Balancing, Firewalls Practical experience with Azure Networking (VNets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, App Gateway) Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Good communication skills; can explain technical concepts clearly Self-motivated, adaptable, and proactive learner Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred) Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate (preferred) HashiCorp Certified Terraform Associate (preferred)
