Overview
We are seeking experienced
Network Engineers
to support a large-scale network migration project. This long-term engagement involves the deployment and migration of new
Cisco LAN and WLAN infrastructure , replacing legacy systems across multiple locations.
The engineers will work onsite during the
second shift
to minimize disruption to daytime operations. Configuration details and implementation guidelines will be provided by the
Lead Network Engineer .
Key Responsibilities
Configure new
Cisco LAN and WLAN equipment
based on provided implementation guidelines. Execute daily migrations from legacy network systems to new Cisco infrastructure. Conduct post-migration testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless transitions. Follow established configuration templates and standard operating procedures provided by the lead engineer. Collaborate with the lead and project teams to ensure consistency across multiple sites. Document configuration steps, testing results, and any identified issues or variances. Qualifications
Minimum certification:
Cisco
CCNA
(required). Experience:
3+ years of hands-on experience configuring and deploying Cisco LAN/WLAN hardware. Strong understanding of switching, routing, and wireless technologies. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues. Excellent attention to detail and adherence to project documentation standards. Must be able to work
onsite during second shift
hours. Preferred Skills
Experience with
large enterprise or school district environments . Familiarity with Cisco DNA Center, Prime Infrastructure, or similar management tools. Exposure to structured network cutover or migration projects.
