The Principal Engineer Systems - Model Based Systems Engineering - Sentinel will work with other members of the team to ensure that the Sentinel system architecture is captured in CAMEO. Responsibilities include: Develop, decompose, refine and document system, subsystem and component requirements and capabilities to support the Sentinel program. Support the overall system-level development effort including integration of subsystem elements into the overall system-level design architecture and related formal deliverables to the customer. Support overall system-level end to end performance assessments of the Sentinel system and identify and lead the resolution of systems performance gaps relative to stakeholder requirements. Collaborate with senior systems engineers and other disciplines to support the development of the Sentinel deliverables. Lead small ad-hoc teams in the execution of tasking per the Integrated Master Schedule. Basic Qualifications

Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with 5 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in STEM with 3 years of related engineering experience, or a PhD in STEM with no experience. Interim Secret DoD security clearance, or higher - work is performed in a closed area full time (100% onsite / 100% Closed area). Requirements Decomposition experience. Experience with MagicDraw/Cameo Systems Modeler. MBSE Experience. DOORS or other requirements Management Experience. Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and nontechnical personnel. Demonstrated experience in requirements decomposition, validation and verification. Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include: OMG-Certified SysML Professional (OCSMP) Level 1 & 2 Certification. Experience with Teamwork Cloud (TWC) and Branch Management of project within TWC. Missile Defense or Command and Control Experience. Mechanical Engineering exposure - ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and analyses. Electrical Engineering exposure - ability to read and understand electrical schematics and analyses. Thrust Vector Controller or Actuator experience. Solid Rocket Motor experience. Supplier Management experience. Control Account Manager experience. Primary Level Salary Range: $95,300.00 - $142,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
